Documentary / ENG
Jake's television journalism career began in 1991 when he graduated with a B.A. in Broadcast Journalism from Texas State University. Since then he's worked in television news and promotion, produced, directed and written over 75 weekly magazine shows, shot documentary feature films and done many EPK's and DVD features for major films and television shows.

Documentary film is one of Jake's true passions. He believes that journalists have a great responsibility to the public and that independent documentary films can allow objective journalism to be practiced outside the bounds of greater interests. His experience as an editor and director are invaluable to him as a documentary cinematographer. He knows how to tell the story with pictures and what is needed in the edit suite to put together a compelling sequence of shots.

Jake offers a great documentary / ENG equipment package, including the Sony F900 HDCAM camera, Sony F800 XDCAM HD camera, Sony EX3 camera, extensive lighting and grip kit, and HDCAM / XDCAM playback decks for data transfer, conversion or post production.
