Jake has become a one call solution for all types of field production from a simple 2 man ENG crew to full commercial productions. He has a significant amount of equipment in house, so he can often put a camera crew together and have them on location in a couple of hours. Jake is also a great resource for production companies and independent producers; providing equipment, crew or fully producing a shoot day.

Jake Zortman Cinematography has significant resources, both in house and in the region. We provide cameras and grip and lighting packages for a number of DPs and production companies in Southern California. This ranges from a simple camera package rental to providing all the equipment and crew for a shoot. We are fully insured, can run payroll and carry worker’s comp.
Live Streaming

We produce livestreaming events to any platform, including social such as facebook live. These productions can range from relatively simple single camera streams to multi-camera live switched shows – essentially, live TV but streamed for the internet. We keep up to date with the latest tech and abilities, including live VR streams.

Jake started out in this business shooting ENG, camera on his shoulder, telling a story with pictures, and lighting interviews in the most challenging of situations. It’s a skill set that’s hard to come by today.
